My Story
Hi! I'm Georgia, and I play the violin and a few other instruments. I live in north-east England. I've been playing the violin since I was 7, and have been playing traditional English, Irish and Scottish folk music since I was 15.
One of my favourite things to do on the violin, as well as playing the melody, is to play harmony parts along with the tunes. Over the years people kept asking me if I could write out the sheet music for the harmonies that I composed - so I did. And then I made some of them available on the internet as digital sheet music to download.
People started buying them straightaway, and emailing me asking for more! I never expected this to happen, but now I have a collection of over a hundred arrangements of traditional tune arrangements, all available in my shop. And this is (unbelievably) now a large part of how I make my living.
